Get up, or it costs you.
That usually means something else is going on — being unwell, run down, or a deadline that is simply too early. Charging you more will not help.
1. Set the time you want to be up by.
2. Print your code and stick it somewhere you have to walk to — the kettle, the bathroom mirror, the front door.
3. Scan it before your deadline and you owe nothing. After that it is £1.00 a minute.
4. You move the money to your own savings. Nothing is taken automatically — this app never touches your bank.
Use your phone's own alarm to wake up. BedDebt does not replace it — a normal app cannot ring reliably through silent mode. BedDebt is what checks you actually got up.
Unique to this phone. Only this code stops the meter.
Point the camera at the code you printed.
Type the letters printed under the code.
This only clears the tally. BedDebt has no access to your bank and never will.
There is always a ceiling. Oversleeping badly should sting, never frighten.
Everything BedDebt knows is on this phone. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and there is no server to hold it.
BedDebt is not a medical device and not a treatment for anything. If you are struggling to get up most days, that is worth speaking to a GP about — not an app.
